One of my main passions is writing lyrics. I consider quality lyrics to be important when writing songs. It is not something that comes wholly natural to me and I am in awe of those who can rattle off song after song in a short space of time. My output has not been the most prolific but I do take my time with each piece. It took me years to reach what I would regard to be an acceptable standard and there have been many pieces scribbled and scrapped in the process. This is a collection of most of the lyrics I have been happy with over the years. The subject matter, perspective and style varies wildly throughout (and depending on the vintage, the quality) but it is all my own work. I hope to add to this as I write new pieces and re-discover old ones from the archives.
